Federico II Congress Centre

The 38th Annual Conference of the European Society for Population Economics will be hosted by the DiSES and CSEF, University of Naples Federico II. All parallel sessions and keynote lectures will be held at the Federico II Congress Centre.

📍The Federico II Congress Centre is located at:

Via Partenope n.36, on Naples’s lungomare, in the Chiaia neighbourhood.

The location is central and within walking distance from the Metro and the Funicolare.

📍How to Reach the Congress Centre

From the Airport

From Napoli Capodichino airport one oprion is to reach the Federico II Congress Centre by TAXI. The Taxi stand is located outside Terminal 1. There is a fixed rate of €8.50 from the Airport to Via Partenope/Alberghi.

An alternative is to take the Alibus airport shuttle. The shuttle arrives at "Molo Beverello".

From Train Station

From Napoli Centrale railway station one possibility is to reach the Federico II Congress Centre by TAXI. There is a fixed rate of €17.5 from the Central Train Station "Garibaldi" to Via Partenope/Alberghi.

An alternative is to take the METRO Line 1 at Garibaldi stop with direction Piscinola and get off at Municipio. From there you can either take the METRO Line 6 and get off at San Pasquale (at the moment open from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm, check opening times before travelling) or enjoy a pleasant walk through Piazza Plesbiscito (about 30 minutes).

Via Car

Take Exit n. 10 ‘Fuorigrotta’ of Naples’s Tangenziale.
